High Speed Motion Compensation for ISAR Imaging Based on Matched Filter Parameter Adjustment and Entropy Minimization

High speed motion of space target will lead to the extension of the range profile, which is unfavorable for ISAR imaging processing. In this paper, a high speed motion compensation method based on matched filter parameter adjustment and entropy minimization is proposed for intermediate frequency direct sampling (IFDS) data. Firstly, the effect of high speed motion on IFDS data is analyzed. Then, parameter adjustment of the matched filter is designed to achieve high speed motion compensation and pulse compression. Finally, we model the motion of the target in the imaging processing time as a polynomial, and the particle swarm algorithm (PSO) is used to iteratively search the motion parameters. Simulation experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
