Integrated Decision-Making for Industrial Site Selection: Combining AHP, COPRAS and Spatial Approaches

This research utilizes the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) for criteria weighting and Complex Proportional Assessment (COPRAS) to determine the priority ranking of industrial locations. The criteria for determining industrial locations in this study encompass compliance with industrial area regulations, land availability, and the risk of flood and tidal inundation. This research uses spatial data as criteria data and spatial query analysis to produce alternative values. Incorporating spatial analysis, this research employs data from 5 alternatives, encompassing a dataset of 4,332 spatial entries. The ranking results obtained by combining AHP and COPRAS indicate a significant correlation with the priority list of industrial zones set by DPMTSP. The Rank Spearman correlation value of 0.7 indicates the consistency between the priority ranking generated by this method and the priorities established by DPMTSP. This research can serve as a crucial foundation for decision-making related to sustainable industrial location development, taking into consideration environmental aspects and applicable regulations.
