The Error Evaluation of the Amplitude of Finger Tapping and Pronation/Supination of the Palm Exercises Recorded by Leap Motion

The stands have been prepared for assessing the error in determining the amplitude of movements by the Leap Motion sensor based on motion signals when performing the exercises «finger tapping» and «pronation/supination» of the palm. Signals were recorded for different amplitudes of movement. Metrics for estimating the error in calculating the amplitude of movements were calculated based on the extremum points on of the movement signals. The estimation of errors can be taken into account when designing a biotechnical system for assessing movement disorders in Parkinson's disease.
