Data Processing for Millimeterwave Humidity Sounder (MHS) onboard EOS-07 Mission

Earth Observation Satellite-07 (EOS-07) was launched through SSLV-D2 from Sriharikota on 10
^th
Feb 2023. This satellite is equipped with two proof of concept payloads namely, MHS (Millimeterwave Humidity Sounder) and SMP (Spectral Monitoring Payload). MHS is an across track scanning Radiometer payload with six channel with operating frequency around water vapor absorption microwave channel i.e., 183.31±15.75GHz. The data product generation S/W is generating three levels of Science data products using Level-0 Data product (raw data). The Level-1, Level-2 are scan mode products over acquired geometry and Level-3 is global grid product. The global grid products are generated every 12 hourly as and when new data is dumped. This paper describes the MHS data products definition, data processing elements and payload performance.
