C2MDNIF: A Cross Chain based Method for Domain Name Information Fusion

The existing Internet adopts a 'centralized recursive' domain name resolution system, which makes the country controlling the 'root domain name resolution system' can 'stop the service and disconnect' to other countries. The distributed domain name system based on blockchain technology, such as Namecoin and Blockzone, has improved the decentralization, security, and speed of the existing domain name resolution system. But the decentralized domain name data publishing leads to conflicting data on the chain (especially for different blockchain networks). To address the above problems, the paper presents a cross chain based for domain name information fusion(C2MDNIF) to obtain and fuse the domain name data published by different blockchain networks, and then realize the consistent parsing of domain name data. Applying the consensus and feedback mechanisms of multiplayer to ensure the integrity and accuracy of cross-chain domain name information synchronization. Applying the black and white list, existence check, and other strategies to filter and fuse domain name data, thus ensuring reasonable disambiguation of heterogenous domain name information. Finally, through experimental evaluation, the paper concludes by verifying the effectiveness of the proposed method.
