Research on the Influence of Different Arrangement Schemes on the Loss Characteristics of 500kV AC Cable

Tunnel laying cable is a transmission method with large capacity, multiple circuits, and high reliability, widely used in urban power grid transmission and other occasions. The layout of power cables has a significant impact on their loss characteristics, so it is necessary to conduct loss calculation and analysis under different arrangement. In this paper, finite element simulation calculation models for 500kV power cables under different arrangement schemes are established, the influence of arrangement schemes and circuit numbers on the distribution of cable losses are calculated and analyzed. The results show that yhe arrangement schemes has a significant impact on its loss characteristics, among which the small triangle arrangement has the smallest loss, while the vertical layout situation is the worst. As the number of the circuit increases, the influence of induced magnetic fields between different circuits is relatively small, and the total loss of multi circuit arrangement is in a multiple relationship with the total loss of single circuit arrangement. The research results of this article can provide reference for the design and optimization of cable arrangement schemes.
