Multivariate Degradation Analysis of Permanent Magnet Mechanism Reliability

Vacuum circuit breaker is widely used in power grid construction, which has good contact breaking ability, good operation effect. As the core part of the vacuum circuit breaker, the permanent magnet mechanism has simple structure and is easy to operate, so its reliability is particularly important. In order to investigate the reliability of permanent magnet mechanism in operation, the influence of various parameters on the reliability of permanent magnet mechanism is analyzed via the theory of multiple degradation. The mechanical life of seven bistable permanent magnet mechanisms is experimental researched at room temperature. The simulated loads are installed, and the mechanical characteristics parameters are recorded. By choosing data with degradation characteristics and fitting the data, the degradation equations are obtained. The joint density function for various parameters is established. The reliability estimate of the permanent magnet mechanism at each time is calculated. The method presented in this paper makes the most of degenerate parameters and their correlations, which can be applied to calculating the reliability of permanent magnet mechanism.
