Algorithmic Forex Trading: Expert Advisor Implementation of Automated Strategies

This article proposes an automated forex trading strategy implementation in an expert system. Expert Systems are programs designed to automate trading based on predefined rules and algorithms. It can execute buy or sell orders, manage positions, and apply risk management techniques. It was coded in Meta Quotes Language Version 5 and executed on Meta Trader 5 (MT5). Historical dataset of Currency pair (EURUSD) is. Data is divided into 80% training and 20% testing sets. It uses indicators like Directional Indicators, Standard Deviation, and Average Directional Index. This strategy gives greater profit and a low equity/balance drawdown.
