Evaluation Method of Energy Efficiency of On-Load Capacity Regulating Distribution Transformers

The on-load capacity regulating distribution transformers have two rated capacities. In the distribution area with typical seasonal or periodic load characteristics, more concentrated power consumption, and lower annual average load ratio, its energy-saving effect is significantly better than that of common distribution transformers of the same capacity and type, which meets the requirements of green and low-carbon transformation of distribution network. The relevant standards do not define the energy efficiency grade of on-load capacity regulating distribution transformers, and the actual energy efficiency grade attribution judgment lacks methods and basis, which significantly affects the selection and promotion of this series of products by users. Based on the energy-saving technology principle of on-load capacity regulating distribution transformers, this paper studies and proposes the energy efficiency evaluation method for this series of products. MATLAB is used to complete the development of the energy efficiency grade evaluation system of on-load capacity regulating distribution transformers to achieve a reasonable determination of the energy efficiency grade of on-load capacity regulating distribution transformers. The validity of the energy efficiency classification of the on-load capacity regulating distribution transformer is verified by case analysis.
