Research on the State Assessment Method of Distribution Cable Lines Based on Harmonic Anomaly Characteristics

As the main channel of power supply in urban areas, the fault rate of distribution cables has been rising, which seriously affects the power supply reliability of medium and low voltage distribution networks. In this paper, by studying the causes of distribution cable harmonics, and the correlation between the high harmonics in the current and the abnormality and deterioration of the electrical equipment, we put forward a method of distribution cable state assessment based on the harmonic anomaly characteristics, and elaborate the steps of the assessment method, and through the actual application cases in the field, we verified that the method can effectively make judgments and assessment of the cable operation state.
