Computer Human Interface for Placement Management System

In today’s world employment is very competitive field, where there are few job with more applicants. This highlights the need for an efficient placement portal in academic institutions. So I propose a MERN full-stack based web application that acts as a placement management system for institutions. This platform aims to optimize the placement process for both the students and the college placement officials. It also provides a way to store and manage extensive student information in a secured database. This database will be accessible by the institutions, placement officials and also any authorized firms looking to recruit from that institutions. This platform provides a way for students to store their personal details and all other technical and non-technical details essential for recruitments. It also helps institutions to oversee and manage all the student details under one roof. Students can also update and manage their accounts helping keep their achievements up-to-date. The main of this initiative is to migrate the traditional paper work into an online streamline process. This platform also ensures that the data entered is kept private and secured to enable a trustworthy environment with its users. This platform can also be easily scaled allowing it to be integrated with the institutions existing database quickly. This paper sheds light into the design and implementation of the platform. The primary goal of this initiative is to optimize the current labor heavy placement process into simple and efficient online one. The outcomes of this initiative shows the importance of integrating technology into academic approaches. This platform helps bridge the gap between academics and technology. This also serves as an example that technology has multiple avenues where it can be implemented.
