A Novel Scheme to Prevent Vehicle Collision in Single Lane

A crucial component of an autonomous vehicle's architecture is its ability to handle emergency scenarios. An automated collision avoidance controller is created using a cautious approach that takes into account the minimum amount of tire-road friction necessary to make the maneuver possible. This paper presents the concept of a collision avoidance (CA) scheme by controlling speed of vehicle and distance from other vehicle and sides. It proposes vehicular compatibility-based cooperative communications between two vehicles which extends the network access. Drivers' responses and behaviours vary greatly depending on which assistance technology is used in response to which hazard. This highlights the need for adaptive automation that can reconcile the system's and humans' processing capacities with the potentially dangerous situations that arise. The performance is measured in terms of distance, velocity and angle of rotation of vehicle.
