Research on the Whole Route Risk Control Technology for Ferry Vehicles Based on AI

Aiming at the insufficient supervision of ferry vehicles during navigation, the demand for safety supervision of ferry vehicles is analyzed. Meanwhile, a risk control architecture for the whole route of ferry vehicles based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) is constructed on these grounds. Relying on version 8.0 of You Only Look Once (YOLO) technique the overall risk management and control technology of ferry vehicles, the detection and identification technology of mixed vehicles, the detection and identification technology of vehicle slippery slope, and the detection and identification technology of early start-up are researched. And these detection technologies are applied to develop a whole route risk management system for ferry vehicles. The validation test shows that the accuracy of risk identification of the whole route of ferry vehicles is up to 80%, which indicates that the system can be applied to guide the safety production work of ferry transportation. Finally, the conclusion points to further research work on ferry safety in the future.
