Design and Optimization Analysis of a Certain Type of Centrifugal Aviation Compressor

This article conducts research on the overall design, data simulation, and multidisciplinary coupling analysis of a centrifugal aviation compressor based on the demand for performance optimization. Firstly, by analyzing and summarizing the previous research results, the basic structure and working principle of centrifugal compressors were clarified, and the research objectives and methods of this article were determined. Subsequently, based on the requirements and comparative analysis of various performance indicators, the overall design of the compressor size, number of blades, blade clearance, etc. was carried out. This article is based on the Vista CCD software in Workbench for preliminary blade design and performance analysis, and has designed a set of centrifugal compressor schemes. Based on this, data simulation considering various coupling factors has been conducted, and the design points of the designed centrifugal impeller have been simulated and calculated using CFX flow field analysis software. The simulation of pressure field changes, velocity field changes, and temperature distribution in various regions during the rotation process of compressor components lays the foundation for subsequent optimization. Finally, through the analysis and comparison of simulation results, the performance of the compressor was optimized, resulting in a certain improvement in the performance of the compressor. The research results of this article have certain engineering practical value and universality, and have certain reference significance for improving the performance and application level of centrifugal compressors.
