Research on Multi-objective Replacement Strategy for Railway Freight Car Brake Shoes Based on Monte Carlo Simulation

To solve the problems of railway freight car brake shoe maintenance, a multi-objective replacement strategy of railway freight car brake shoes based on Monte Carlo simulation is proposed. By collecting the historical data of the remaining thickness of the brake shoes of railway freight cars, using the generalized linear mixed effect model to model the degradation law of the brake shoes, and simulating the degradation law of the brake shoes under the maintenance decision conditions based on different maintenance intervals and brake shoes replacement thresholds by Monte Carlo simulation method, five program evaluation indexes are proposed, and the optimal decision is given to the centralized maintenance of the brake shoes based on the weights of different indexes of the program.
