Vague set-based fault tree analysis of automotive high-voltage relays

In view of the difficulties in fault analysis caused by the lack of basic data on high-voltage relay events in electric vehicles, the vague set was introduced to quantify the bottom event failure probability. Apply the maximum and minimum AND gate fuzzy operators to calculate the top event failure probability and the importance of each bottom event. Finally, an application is made using an electric vehicle high-voltage relay sticking failure event as an example, and the results are compared with a fuzzy fault tree and a conventional fault tree analysis to verify the feasibility of the studied method.
