Research of Definition and Analysis Method for Civil Aircraft Turnaround Time

Aircraft turnaround time is one of the most important competitive indicators of aircraft, which has an important impact on the operational success and passenger satisfaction of airlines. Therefore, in the aircraft concept demonstration phase and preliminary design phase, it is particularly important to define the turnaround time based on market operation, and confirm whether the ability of aircraft can meet the requirements of the indicators through calculation and analysis. This paper proposes the definition of turnaround time of single-aisle aircraft and dual-aisle aircraft from the perspective of competition and market operation. In this paper, all the turnaround tasks in the full-service turnaround scenarios are analyzed in detail, and the analysis method and the turnaround task timing table are given. Finally, an application example is given based on a certain type of dual-aisle civil aircraft.
