Novel Fuzzy PID Control Tuning for a Chemical Process Control System

PID is a widely used controller in the process industry. Tuning of PID controller is important for effective control of the system variables. However, PID-tuning is not easy for a complex system where disturbances are common phenomena. The proposed work employs the Fuzzy-PID tuning method for a chemical-process system. Responses have been observed in two cases, firstly when the system is normally working and secondly, when the system is subjected to some disturbance. The performance of the system is compared with some of the existing literature.
