Power Flow Management in AC-DC hybrid Microgrid

This research prosed power flow controller system to control DC-AC hybrid distribution generating network power consumption. The proposed energy management system considers distributed generation, load demand, and battery charge. Multi-bidirectional converters connect AC and DC networks to create a hybrid microgrid. AC power supply and AC loads are tied in AC grid, whereas DC supply and loads are in the DC grid. Battery unit connected to AC and DC connectors. The system's control and operation account for ambient wind, ambient temperature, irradiation, and load variability. A compact hybrid grid model simulated using MATLAB Simulink. The simulation shows that the coordination control technique manages load demand.
