HOMER GRID; Study and optimization of utility grid HRES system for remote area in India

In this study, utility grid a solar and wind based hybrid power system is developed for remote area of Madhya Pradesh India. HOMER GRID software was used to develop a simulation model for remote area Surajpura (latitude 23° 50' 20.5944'' N, longitude 79° 26' 27.6900'' E) in Jabera Tehsil in Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh. []. The inputs used in the simulation include real solar radiation data and wind speed data (average monthly rates), taken from the NREL radiation.
