Solar Energy with Storage Battery based Electric Vehicle Charging Station

The objective of this article is to familiarize readers with a hybrid energy system capable of supplying power to an electric car charging station, which utilizes solar panels. The battery storage unit is a distinct yet essential component of any hybrid energy storage system. Swiftly adjusting the supply from the storage system is essential when solar electricity is susceptible to fluctuations due to changes in solar irradiation and temperature. This is due to the variability of solar electricity. Fluctuations in power can be detected when the energy is sourced from the battery energy storage system. When there are observed shifts of power, this statement remains valid. Battery storage is essential for controlling the DC bus voltage and stabilizing variations in solar power generation when electric vehicles are incorporated into a microgrid. The objective is to maintain uniform voltage levels throughout the entire system. All results are validated using the MATLAB Simulink application.
