Discussion on the Solution of Power Network Equations

The discussion of the multi-solution problem based on traditional power network equations has certain difficulties. This article establishes a new form of power network equation by introducing branch current variables and node voltage together. By solving the equation, the conditions for the existence of the equation solution and the factors affecting the number of equation solutions were obtained. Furthermore, the equation solutions for degenerate nodes, node load models, and saddle-node bifurcation points were analyzed. Through case analysis, the effectiveness of the power network multi-solution analysis method proposed in this paper is verified, which provides a new idea for power network equation solving.
