A Study of Heterogeneous Load Polymerisation Methods

Low-carbon parks have a high proportion of adjustable resources (electric heating, temperature-controlled loads, electric vehicles, etc.) that are able to store and regulate electricity in the form of power or cooling/heating without compromising user satisfaction, and have good dispatch flexibility. However, their intermittency and volatility issues pose challenges to the safe and stable operation of the park, while the traditional means of adding energy storage devices are costly and less flexible. Therefore, based on the environment of the new power system, this paper analyses the heterogeneous characteristics of each distributed load and collectively refers to the regulated resources in the park as virtual energy storage loads; defines the controllable energy state margin indexes and establishes an aggregation model of virtual energy storage loads with this state variable, using Monte Carlo simulation algorithms, thus completing the aggregation of distributed heterogeneous loads in the new park.
