The Development of Online Games for Public Relations Media Promoting Tourism in Chiang Rai Province

This research aims to 1) Study Chiang Rai’s tourism public relations media 2) Create media to publicize tourism in Chiang Rai in the form of a game and 3) Evaluate the efficiency and satisfaction of online game users. The researcher selected 9 important tourist attractions in Chiang Rai through an assessment form from 3 experts, consisting of 1) Chiang Rai tourism-related experts, 2) graphic design experts, and 3) programming experts. The researcher designed the graphic design of the character with the scene consisting of the technique of drawing tourist attractions in conjunction with the Construct 2 program. Public relations media is a twodimensional game that looks like a level adventure game with a narrative presenting the main attractions of Chiang Rai province. All three experts evaluated the game’s performance with an agree level average ($\bar{x}=4.43$, S.D. $=0.73$). After offered the game to 20 volunteer tourists to play. The game’s performance has been evaluated with the strongly agree level average $(\bar{x}=4.55$, S.D. $=0.55)$ and the average satisfaction at the agree level $(\bar{x}=4.44$, S.D. $=0.65)$.
