Data Security in Web 3.0 Based on Full Homomorphic Encryption

Cloud computing is a popular technology that provides users with storage and collaboration tools, as well as computing power. Due to the need to store large amounts of data, there is a growing trend towards the widespread use of cloud services every year. However, transferring personal information to the cloud raises several privacy concerns. The transition to the next generation of networks requires the highest level of security for users' personal data, necessitating a revision of current methods for its transmission and storage as well as the adoption of new cryptographic approaches. Homomorphic encryption is one such method that allows calculations to be performed on encrypted data without requiring the decryption of these data. This approach solves the problem of securely transmitting and storing personal information while still allowing for the required calculations to be made. This article will focus on the implementation of a homomorphic encryption scheme (Gentry et al.) using the advanced computing power of modern PCs. To track the dynamics of growth in implementation efficiency, an identical experiment was conducted on devices of different generations of the MacBook Air line. The results were compared with software implementations using Intel Core i5 processors and Apple M2 processors. As a result of the execution time evaluation, a reduction in the range from 45.15% to 65.95% is achieved for a number of basic processes of the Gentry algorithm.
