Results of Development and Approbation of the Program for Computer for Determination of Empirical Coefficients of Sprinkler

This paper considers the actual direction - the improving the efficiency of recycled water supply systems of thermal and nuclear power plants. It is known that the temperature of cooled water supplied to the condensers of steam turbines has a significant impact on the reliability and efficiency of power units operation. The main technological element of cooling towers is a sprinkler, the characteristics of which predetermine the efficiency of heat exchange during cooling of circulating water. The paper presents a methodology for determining the characteristics of the irrigator affecting the depth of cooling of recycled water. According to the developed methodology, a program for calculating the coefficients of aerodynamic resistance of a sprinkler
$(\boldsymbol{\zeta}_{\mathbf{co}},\ \mathbf{k}_{\mathbf{op}})$
and its thermal efficiency (A, m) is compiled. Previously, the authors also developed a numerical model for calculating the cooling capacity of cooling towers and fan cooling towers, which has been tested and can be used at enterprises using cooling towers as hydrocoolers.
