Electromagnetic Field Emitted by a Moving Dipole

In the study of electromagnetic radiation of the motion of a dipole of small dimensions, an expression determining the structure of the electromagnetic wave (polarization characteristics) and its power is obtained. Consequently, the purpose of the research is to model the electromagnetic field, which is determined by the square of the third derivative of the dipole moment. The results of the work allow to refine the estimates of radiation friction when the dipole moves due to radiation energy. Including it is shown that in the case of small dipole sizes the power of study is also determined by the square of the third derivative of the dipole moment, in contrast to the known expressions. The results of the paper can be used in the study of the phenomenon of interaction of electromagnetic waves propagating in condensed matter.
