Steady-State Heat Exchange in an Electrically Heated Bath Stove with a Daily Cast Iron Heat Accumulator

This paper presents an analysis of heat exchange features in an electrically heated bath stove with a daily cast iron heat accumulator based on similarity criteria. Conclusions were drawn regarding the suitability of the materials used for the heat accumulator and the stove casing. A mathematical model of unsteady heat transfer through the stove wall was described for the case of established heat exchange during the period. A methodology for numerical modeling of heat exchange in the stove wall with coupled boundary conditions was developed. The results of numerical simulations are presented and analyzed.
