Software Emulator to Provide the Interoperability of Wireless Sensor Networks Protocols

This paper presents a software implementation of a proposed theoretical solution for the interoperability issue of wireless sensor network standards. The emulator architecture includes three software modules (scripts) written in the Visual Code Studio environment and using Python programming language. The results of the execution of the emulator, showed that compatibility of WirelessHART and ZigBee standards frames was ensured, on the other hand, the efficiency is reduced and processing time has been increased due to the unification process, which that can be considered a negative indicator.
