Abstract:

The perspective of engineering development is based on modern programmes that allow to develop and theoretically control the working processes occurring in devices, apparatuses, select the most effective modes of operation and calculate technical parameters for their manufacture. In this paper a jet ejector pump is considered and hydrodynamic modelling with the help of ANSYS Fluent and STAR-CCM+ programs is carried out according to the given parameters. The influence of “twisting” of the flow at the inlet to the mixing chamber of active and passive flows is investigated and characteristic graphs are drawn.
