Systems of Automatic Control of Electrochromic Devices

Electrochromics is one of the most relevant technologies providing energy efficiency and usability as well as financial benefits. This paper discusses the general concept of electrochromic device and develops an automatic control system for electrochromic device. The presented system provides usability and improves the energy efficiency of commercial facilities. Within the scope of the paper, the design problems of electrochromic devices are also outlined. Various examples of realization of electrochromic devices and their control systems are considered, their main features are noted. Ways of increasing the efficiency of the control system of electrochromic devices are suggested. The introduction of additional sensors is required for realization of optimal adjustment, the introduction of filtering and deviation zone allows to reduce power consumption and to decrease the error of illumination index.
