On Dynamic Resource Allocation Schemes for D2D Communications Over Ultra-Dense 5G Cellular Networks

With the advancement of wireless technology, there has been a remarkable increase in the number of mobile devices on cellular networks. As a result, the base station will experience excessive traffic and will be unable to deliver the required quality of service standards. Accordingly, D2D technology has been offered as a possible method for increasing spectrum efficiency by utilizing current radio resources. The goal of this research is to propose a dynamic scheduler that addresses resource scheduling difficulties in ultra-dense 5G cellular networks to maximize system capacity. The proposed scenario considers a greater proportion of D2D users than cellular users. Under the ultra-dense situation, radio resources should be assigned to D2D users with strict priority. Then, to resolve this problem, resource scheduling approaches are given. The suggested strategy may significantly enhance spectrum efficiency and system capacity, according to simulation findings.
