Oscillations of Structures Interacting in the Aerodynamic Medium

The article analyzes oscillations of structures combined into a mechanical system in the aerodynamic medium. Results of determining aerodynamic characteristics of a solid system with horizontal and vertical configuration by experimental and numerical methods are presented. The wind pressure isofields constructed in the ANSYS CFX are provided. They correspond to the experiment results. System influence on characteristics of each object separately is shown. Frequencies and forms of the structure natural oscillations are determined. Possible shifts at each structure characteristic points from the wind effects on each object are calculated both separately and at their different position in the system. The article shows that combination of bodies into a system is able to significantly change the aerodynamic characteristics, which leads to redistribution of forces arising in the structures.
