Orbital Modulation for Shared Spectrum Optimization and Obfuscated Communications

This paper introduces a new overlay modulation technique called“ Orbital Modulation.” By using self-interference cancellation techniques, this method allows for the addition of non-interfering communication channels to existing systems operating in the same frequency band simultaneously with the original signal to provide true spectrum sharing. This innovative technique not only enables concealed communications without requiring additional spectrum, but it can also significantly enhance the data rates of traditional communication systems. The use of tailored coding and encryption techniques further improves the reception of signals from challenging and dynamic channels, ensuring secure communication. This technique enables high data rate, low probability of detection (LPD) and low probably of interception (LPI) “hiding in plain sight” communications overlaid undetectably on an existing communications network.
