A Novel BA-DE Algorithm Applied to Microgrid Economic Dispatch

With the vigorous development of microgrids in recent years, microgrids can provide powerful resources for local areas in a more economical and environmentally friendly way. However, due to the randomness of renewable resources and the buffering of energy storage devices, it is always a problem to be faced with the microgrid to integrate resources more effectively to ensure its normal operation. In this paper, a novel BA-DE algorithm (NHBA) is proposed to solve the economic dispatch problem of the microgrid. The performance of the proposed NHBA algorithm is tested in 50D using CEC2017 functions. The NHBA algorithm adopts the method of separating the DE algorithm and the BA algorithm, and absorbs the location update characteristics of the two algorithms. Compared with the original BA algorithm, combined with the DE calculation, the NHBA algorithm can perform position replacement with better fitness and avoid falling into a local optimal solution. The results show that the proposed NHBA algorithm performs well. The simulation results of the mathematical model combined with microgrid economic dispatch show that the proposed NHBA algorithm has good performance compared with the comparative algorithm microgrid economic dispatch application.
