Analysis of Power Modulations in Resonant Dual Active Bridge DC-DC Converter

This paper presents an analysis of power modulations in the Resonant Dual Active Bridge (RDAB) DC-DC converter, considering different pulse-widthmodulation techniques. A comparison is made between the extended-phase-shift (EPS) and dual-phase-shift (DPS) power modulation techniques in the RDAB DCDC converter. The objective is to achieve high power transfer efficiency throughout the entire range of operation. To accomplish this, a hybrid power modulation technique merging EPS and DPS techniques is proposed. The validation of the proposed scheme is conducted through MATLAB/SIMULINK software to assess its effectiveness.
