Hierarchical Coded Caching Model for Multi-Path Topological Networks

In this paper we study a two-level hierarchical coded caching system with arbitrary topology and propose a new method for this generalized model that takes advantage of multiple connections between users and helpers to improve the performance of the distribution process. We provide achievability results for this system and compare its performance with other classical one- and two-layer coded caching systems. Our results show that further improvement is possible by using two levels of caching in different operating regimes.
