In the realm of safety and security management, assessing the perceived risk among visitors to heritage and cultural sites holds significant importance. Social media emerges as a potent tool in this context, as it propagates reviews that can sway individual opinions. It stands as a pivotal medium for advertising, with a staggering 90% of tourists relying on these reviews. Recent times have witnessed a surge in research concerning opinion mining and sentiment analysis, driven by the imperative of enhancing public safety and security. Such investigations empower security personnel to uncover unforeseen incidents that may pose threats. In certain instances, perceived risks may be magnified. Consequently, it becomes imperative to identify the underlying reasons for such apprehension and implement corresponding mitigation measures. In this paper, we delve into the estimation of risk perception at the Royal Palace of Naples in Italy. We demonstrate how this estimation can elicit emotional responses from visitors through the application of sentiment analysis on Twitter data, including the analysis of emojis.
