Evaluation System of Student's Concentration Using Deep Learning-Based Head-Pose Estimation

For online learning, it is difficult to evaluate the concentration of students when they are studying online. This paper will present an evaluation system of student's concentration for online learning platform. The proposed system uses the deep learning-based head-pose estimation algorithm to determine the concentration of the students. In addition, closed eye detection is applied to detect distraction of students. The experimental results show that the proposed system can efficiently detect student's concentration.
