Research on Rotor Speed Optimization Strategy of TiltRotor Aircraft based on IPSO-SQP Algorithm

Aiming at the problem that the rotor speed changes due to the conversion of flight mode during the full envelope flight of the tilt-rotor aircraft, this paper proposes a method to optimize the rotor speed based on the IPSO-SQP algorithm according to the comprehensive performance index of the aircraft. Firstly, the vertical and vertical force analysis of the tilt-rotor aircraft is carried out, and the influence of the change of the rotor speed on the performance of the aircraft is analyzed. Based on this, a comprehensive performance index function is established for the tilt-rotor aircraft, and the equality constraints and inequality constraints of the optimization problem are given through analysis. Furthermore, according to the comprehensive performance index function and constraint conditions, the rotor speed of the aircraft is optimized based on the IPSO-SQP algorithm. Finally, the optimal rotor speed change trajectory of the designed comprehensive performance index function is obtained under the premise of satisfying each constraint condition and ensuring the safety of the aircraft. Finally, taking XV-15 as the simulation research object, the improvement of the performance of the aircraft by optimizing the rotor speed change trajectory is verified by the full envelope flight simulation.
