DSM Based In-Vehicle Cabin Setting

Automation in nook and corner has brought an enormous amount of comfort for customers. Mirrors play a vital role in driving a vehicle. It is important to have proper mirror positions and other cabin settings, subjective to the driver, for seamless driving. Sometimes, it could take time to make proper adjustment to the mirrors if the vehicle is driven by multiple users. To reduce this discomfort to the driver and to make the vehicle as ‘ready-to-go’ as possible, this feature is developed. The eye position of the driver is calculated, and coarse adjustment of the mirrors are done while also providing the customer an option of fine adjustment since mirror positioning is subjective. The leg position is calculated to define the steering position and seat position.
