Enhancing Overall Voltage Level Reliability of Power Distribution Network through Comprehensive Analysis of Common-Mode Faults, and Voltage Level Integration

This research endeavors to augment the overall voltage level reliability of distribution networks by conducting a thorough examination of common-mode faults and the integration of voltage levels. Historically, scholarly investigations have tended to disregard the intricate interdependencies intrinsic to distribution networks, substations, and the primary power grid. Additionally, insufficient attention has been directed towards appraising the repercussions of common-mode faults occurring among devices within the distribution network. In response to these lacunae, the present study capitalizes on the operational nuances characterizing multi-voltage-level distribution networks and introduces novel concepts, notably the correlation of common-mode devices. The research formulates an equivalent model for substations, devises algorithms for the assessment of reliability, and substantiates the proposed approach through empirical validation via practical case studies. The discerned outcomes of this study furnish efficacious strategies for the amelioration of the overall voltage level reliability within distribution networks.
