Analysis and theoretical research on waste heat recovery technology in thermal power plants

The potential for energy conservation through waste heat recovery in power plants is substantial. Scholars, both domestic and foreign, commonly employ low-temperature economizers, power cycles, and absorption heat pump technologies to recover low-grade waste heat in thermal power plants. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of current waste heat recovery methods, exploring the development vision for waste heat application in thermal power plants. It focuses on two key aspects: breakthroughs in key technologies and the comprehensive utilization of energy. The proposed waste heat recovery theory aims to extend the use of waste heat temperature and promote refrigeration through power generation waste heat.
