Adaptive IoT-Based Monitoring System in Edge Network for Aquaponics Ecosystem

Aquaponics is a modern method of farming and cultivating fish. With the various advantages offered, this method has become popular with the public. Water quality is the key to success in using the aquaponics method. Farmers must monitor water quality regularly and continuously to ensure that water conditions still meet standards as a place for fish to live and contain sufficient nutrients for plant growth. To overcome this problem, an adaptive aquaponics system was created to retrieve and display the data automatically. This system will provide data every minute. The system will be IoT-based and adaptive. Adaptive here means the system can adapt to the state of the existing internet connection. So that the system can be more resilient in overcoming connection problems, and the collected data will not be lost when the system is disconnected from the internet.
