Designing an Adaptive Learning Management System at AMA Computer Learning College–ORMOC (ACLC): Development and Analysis

An Adaptive Learning Management System (LMS) is a transformative platform that integrates adaptive learning principles and technologies, revolutionizing the educational experience. This study focuses on designing an adaptive LMS tailored to Java programming, evaluating student engagement, and gauging perceptions of system features. With 51 respondents (26 males, 25 females), the study showcases the platform's capacity to actively involve students, capturing sustained attention through tools like CodeRunner, adaptive quizzes, and H5P interactive features. This heightened engagement significantly contributes to positive learning outcomes and overall student success. The adaptive LMS not only exceeds student expectations but also provides a personalized, flexible learning experience, addressing diverse learning styles and preferences. The system's effectiveness promotes inclusivity, thereby reducing educational disparities. These findings underscore the pivotal role of technology in modern education and advocate for a transformative approach to programming education.
