A Design of Dual-polarized Metasurface Antenna Array Integrated with ITO Glass for 5G mmWave Applications

In this paper, a design of metasurface array antenna that combines PCB circuit board and ITO glass for mobile phone back cover is proposed. The antenna element mainly consists of a feed structure printed on the PCB board and a metasurface radiation patch array printed on the ITO glass. The proposed design can realize ± 45° dual-polarization and one single element gain higher than 7.91dBi, operation bandwidth covers 24.125 30.15GHz, and the isolation between two polarization feed ports is higher than $18 \mathrm{~dB}$. A $1 \times 4$ antenna array which is composed of this element is designed to achieve ± 5° beam scanning.
