A multi-band automotive LOGO antenna

In order to solve the drawbacks such as narrow working frequency band, large size and poor conformal ability of traditional vehicle antenna, this paper proposes a multi-band LOGO antenna for vehicle used. By loading a pair of inverted V-shaped branches in the center of the ring structure and applying the coplanar waveguide (CPW) ground corner cutting method, the number of antenna resonance modes increases. Additionally, a pair of defective ground structures (DGS) are loaded. The antenna proposed in this paper covers four frequency band, whose central frequency points lie at 1.36 GHz, 2.4 GHz, 3.5 GHz and 5.2 GHz respectively, satisfying the needs of GPS, WIFI, 5G mobile communication. Furthermore, since the antenna resembles the logo of Dongfeng Citroën, it can achieve an exceptional conformal ability if integrated onto vehicles of the corresponding brand. As a result, it holds significant potential for widespread applications.
