Millimeter-wave All Dielectric FSS with Glass Cover for Improving Antenna Radiation Performance in 5G Mobile Terminal

This paper presents an efficient transmissive all dielectric FSS (ADFSS) working in 5G millimeter wave band particularly for mobile phone application with glass cover. The designed ADFSS has an ideal passband from 23.7 GHz to 30.7 GHz, which can overcome the problem of antenna radiation performance deterioration caused by the glass cover. It may find potential application in modern wireless communication user-terminals.
