On-orbit performance analysis of high-precision umbrella antenna for deep space exploration

The influence of temperature field on the surface accuracy of high-precision umbrella antenna used in deep space exploration must be considered because of its complex manufacturing process and harsh operating temperature environment in orbit. In order to ensure that the performance of high-precision umbrella antenna in orbit meets the expectation, the ability of antenna recovery at ultra-low temperature is verified, and the influence of different temperature fields on the antenna surface accuracy is analyzed on the basis of the measured antenna surface. Based on the analyzed surface data, the performance of the umbrella antenna considering the thermal deformation is evaluated by the semi-physical electromagnetic simulation method. The results show the on-orbit performance of the antenna meets requirements of the system design.
