Low-Carbon Dispatch of Regional Integrated Energy System in Energy-Carbon Coupling Trading Mode

As an effective market-oriented carbon reduction measure, the promotion of carbon trading mechanism leads to more complicated energy-carbon interaction. How to fully mobilize the complementary advantages of regional integrated energy systems (RIES) and form reasonable energy-carbon prices is of vital significance. In this paper, a ladder-type carbon trading mechanism covering carbon emission allowance (CEA) and China-certified emission reduction (CCER) is introduced, and an optimal dispatching model of RIES in the energy-carbon transaction mode is proposed. Furthermore, locational energy-carbon prices are derived from the locational margin price (LMP) principle and the actual carbon emission flow (CEF), which can provide effective boundary information for the subsequent autonomous operation. Finally, RIES composed of the 6-bus power system, 7-node gas system, and 6-node heating system is constructed in the case study. The influence of carbon trading is illustrated in terms of the joint dispatching results, carbon emission trajectories, and clean energy consumption rates, and the rationality of locational energy-carbon price is verified.
